The technology that Nanosafe Coatings uses can provide persistent protection at a cost much less than current antimicrobial technology. This technology is non-toxic and free from harsh chemicals like volatile organic compounds (VOCs), arsenic, polychlorinated phenols, and heavy metals. Our antimicrobial technology takes a completely different approach to normal disinfectants. Instead of delivering poison to kill microbes, it kills by mechanically piercing and rupturing the cell membrane of each microbe. This innovative technology prevents mutation, therefore no antimicrobial resistant strains or “superbugs” are ever created.


This technology can be incorporated into a variety of industries using different custom formulations to suit a range of technology platforms: thermoplastics and thermoset resins, oil/gas biocide treatments, water or solvent based coating/treatments, adhesives, caulkings, agricultural sprays and cosmetics.
